About Us
Welcome to Chasin'Tail Charters based in Port Washington, WI, operated by Captain Josh Evje. Captain Josh grew up fishing Lake Michigan and has 30 plus years of experience on the water. You will be fishing onboard a 28' Baha powered by twin 5.7L engines. Fully equipped and rigged with new Garmin electronics, Cannon downriggers, Fishhawk, and all the rods and lures you could ever need. As well as all required and necessary safety equipment. I can take a maximum of 6 guests per trip but if you have a larger group I can accommodate with advanced notice. Fully licensed, Insured, CPR/First aid certified.
We try to schedule trip times when the bite is the best. The earlier in the morning or later in the evening are often the best times to catch fish. But we will customize any trip to fit your needs or preference.
What to bring
- WI Fishing License AND Great Lakes Trout and Salmon Stamp
- Weather Appropriate clothing-ALWAYS cooler offshore
- Snacks/Beverages
(Please combine group carryon's to one cooler)
- Good idea for a second cooler to be left in your vehicle to transport your catch home in.

Our Location
We are located on the lake side of the North Slip behind the new Inventors Brew Pub, 20 yards south of the public fish cleaning station.
Cancellations
In the event of inclement weather and your trip needs to be cancelled or rescheduled you will be given a full refund. If you reserve a date and have to cancel, your deposit will be lost if within 30 days of the trip. We reserve the right to cancel or terminate any trip at any time due to safety precautions.
